Field Service Technician

AAR is a company that provides internal and external service/repair support to Field Repair. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing inspections, repairs, and installations of various types of equipment at remote job sites, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Must be able to travel to remote job sites at various locations INCONUS and OCONUS within 24 hours’ notice
Perform in-depth inspections of various types of equipment and submit detailed write-ups to the Repair Service Coordinator for quote process
Perform major and minor field repairs in austere environments as directed
Complete warranty work as directed
Be able to read and interpret blueprints
Fabricate sub-assemblies from aluminum and steel raw material
Install mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies
Functionally test sub-assemblies and end items to drawing requirements
Assist Shelter Tech. II, Shelter Tech II, and Shelter Tech I in their assigned tasks

Broad technical and analytical business skills as typically evidenced by completion of an associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
