Responsibilities
Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including transmission, engine, electrical, steering, suspension, and brakes
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues
Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and estimated completion times
Execute warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a Transmission or Automotive Technician
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Solid understanding of electrical and engine repair systems
Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical dexterity
Ability to learn new technology and service procedures
Positive, team-oriented attitude with great communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred
ASE or Ford certifications
Ford experience
