Responsibilities

Design and Develop: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack (front-end and back-end)
Deliver Features: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior developers to deliver features that align with business and user needs
Participation / Sprint Reviews: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews
Write Code: Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews
Troubleshoot: Resolve technical issues, escalating complex challenges to senior experts or 'Chapters' as needed
Alignment: Document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals
Migration Support: And integration of applications across data centers and cloud environments, as relevant to ongoing IT RDI initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Familiarity with back-end languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and version control (Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
Ability to work collaboratively in distributed, cross-functional teams
Willingness to work in a product-centric structure, with a focus on ownership and accountability for delivered features
Openness to cross-team collaboration and sharing best practices, avoiding siloed development
Flexibility to support projects across different locations (e.g., Lexington, AMD, BLR), as hiring and project needs evolve
Commitment to accurate documentation of requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations
Awareness of resource management practices, including the ability to adapt to shifting project priorities and team assignments

Preferred

Exposure to (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Participation in open-source projects or relevant internships
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to adapt and willingness to take on new challenges
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
