8+ years expTalentsearchpro is seeking a Project Engineering Manager who will guide teams on transmission projects while being hands-on with PLS-CADD modeling. The role involves overseeing design and construction support, managing project scope and budgets, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
Oversee design, procurement, and construction support for transmission and substation projects
Manage project scope, budget, and schedules for EPC and service-based work
Respond to RFPs and develop detailed engineering proposals
Mentor and train engineers, especially in PLS-CADD and structural design principles
Act as the bridge between junior engineers and project leads as a Subject Matter Expert
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of experience in structural (civil) engineering—about 90% of your work
Strong consulting background in EPC or services projects
Expert-level PLS-CADD skills (8/10 or higher)—must be comfortable modeling
Experience with 69kV and higher transmission line design
Preferred
PE license preferred (not required)
