Project Engineer - New College Grads

Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in the administrative and document control tasks as required
Setup job document controls to manage project information, including:
Jobsite files
Record Drawings
Submittal Schedule
Submittal Log
RFI Log
Electronic document systems
LEED or other green program documentation
Preparing a submittal schedule for PM and Superintendent approval
Receiving, reviewing, distributing and logging submittals (some review and approval by Superintendent)
Preparing weekly submittal status report for OAC meeting
Assisting the Superintendent with the RFI process
Receiving, distributing and recording any clarification documents (RFI’s, ASI’s, new drawings)
Preparing a weekly RFI status report for OAC meeting
Assisting the PM requesting, collecting and reviewing subcontractor pricing on changes
Prepare subcontractor modifications for PM approval and signature
Administrate and document the LEED or other green program
Assisting the PM with assembling Owner change orders
Assisting the PM with collecting and reviewing subcontractor / vendor billings and invoices
Assisting the PM with review of monthly job costs and facilitating correction of cost coding errors
Develop a list of turnover requirements
Facilitate building turnover, including punchlist tracking
Develop a list of required closeout documents
Collect and log closeout documents
Develop a list of required closeout items for each subcontract
Facilitate subcontract closeout
Assist the Superintendent with QA/QC documentation
Assist the Superintendent with weekend/vacation field coverage
Participate in company training
Assist with pre-construction, including estimating and quantification
Qualification
Required
Four-year college degree in engineering, architecture or construction management required
This is an entry level position for individuals with Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 graduation dates
