Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and maintaining the Carnival Group's shared asset management database and Planned Maintenance System (PMS), ensuring standardized information, data analysis, and accurate, up-to-date records for planned maintenance and asset records, including user data change requests
Accountable for developing and maintaining the PMS to ensure compliance with statutory and company safety and operational standards, liaising with relevant departments, ensuring the asset management database and PMS conform to legislation and safety/reliability standards, and proactively reviewing manufacturer documentation and regulatory updates
Maintain contact with various divisions, external entities, and stakeholders to monitor developments, support strategic initiatives related to maintenance and technical inventory, ensure best practices and consistency across the Group, and keep accurate records of meetings and agreements
Responsible for proactively reviewing and analyzing fleet asset performance data, benchmarking performances, identifying common failures, and formulating corrective actions, while providing feedback on new vessel designs to reduce ownership costs and staying updated on industry practices and vessel performance feedback
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or Licensed Marine Engineer
5+ years of experience in the cruise ship and/or shipbuilding industry
Advanced Excel experience
