As an Architectural CAD Technician, you will support the Architecture and Engineering business unit by preparing Revit and AutoCAD drawings under the supervision of Project Architects, contributing to the realization of innovative designs.

Responsibilities
Set up drawings according to company standards for title blocks, layers, fonts, and line weights
Prepare conceptual site plans, aerial overlays, building plans, maps, and exhibits
Prepare preliminary and final construction documents
Update drawings in response to design modifications, redlines, and comments
Assemble plan sets for submission to agencies in PDF and Hard Copy
Conduct spell checking / cross-referencing / quality control / revision tracking
Qualification
Required
1 year of on the job experience is required but 2+ years of experience is preferred working with an A/E design firm preparing Preliminary Design and Construction Documents
Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD drafting software with an emphasis on Revit
Strong working knowledge of all forms of MS office software
The ability to work independently, follow instructions, balance a diverse workload, and meet deadlines
Positive attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator, and AutoTURN experience a plus
Candidates that aspire to become licensed architects are a plus
