Responsibilities

Providing field technical services for Siemens Energy combustion turbine-generators and associated auxiliary systems including commissioning, fact finding, trouble shooting, combustion dynamics & emissions tuning, and periodic support of new unit installations
Playing a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless functioning of Siemens Energy's combustion turbine-generators and associated systems
Providing outstanding metrology and alignment services using CAD and GD&T experience with portable CMM equipment and advanced scanning technologies
Applying modal and vibration analysis to improve the performance and longevity of Siemens Energy's steam and combustion turbine-generators
Commissioning, fixing, valve stroking, timing, and providing periodic support for new unit installations of steam turbine-generators
Maintaining a safety-first approach, ensuring safe working conditions at all times
Traveling to customer sites across the US and internationally, with up to 80% travel required
Leading teams of mechanics and collaborating with different levels of customer organizations
Crafting detailed reports and working both independently and within a team, leading initiatives and striving for continuous process improvements

Required

A completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology, or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience
Ideally, 5 years of proven experience in a relevant field
Advanced field experience in the Power Generation or Oil and Gas Industries
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Commissioning of turbine-generator auxiliary systems, Combustion Dynamics Tuning, Metrology and Alignment, Modal and Vibration Analysis, Turbine-Generator Startup and Operations (T3000 knowledge is a plus)
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions/procedures
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
