Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in the drinking water and wastewater markets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry connections
Provide technical insight and credibility when discussing products or services with clients
Attend industry events, association meetings, and professional conferences as needed (reimbursed)
Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to ensure client needs are understood and met
Maintain communication of sales activities and pipeline updates
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in water / wastewater engineering, operations, or consulting
Understanding of drinking water and wastewater treatment processes, systems, and technologies
Extensive knowledge of the regulatory and funding environments
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage time independently
Preferred
Familiarity with municipalities, utilities, and environmental firms
