Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of high-impact professional learning courses that equip teachers to confidently teach the TechSmart AI and Python curriculum by strengthening their technical and instructional expertise in Python programming, Artificial Intelligence, and prompt engineering
Facilitate dynamic, hands-on remote training sessions that help educators confidently teach AI and Python concepts, integrate the TechSmart curriculum, and apply effective classroom strategies
Evaluate the effectiveness of professional learning through teacher feedback, engagement data and classroom outcomes, using insights to continuously enhance content, delivery, and educator success
Collaborate cross-functionally with Curriculum, Product, Engineering and Sales teams to ensure professional learning aligns with instructional goals, platform updates, and evolving AI capabilities
Provide responsive, personalized remote coaching and mentorship that helps teachers translate new technical and instructional skills into effective classroom practice
Host regular remote teacher coaching sessions, office hours, and collaborative problem-solving meetings that strengthen technical skills, reinforce best practices, address challenges, and support continuous teacher growth
Track teacher engagement and progress in ongoing professional learning to ensure sustained growth and successful implementation throughout the school year
Serve as a trusted technical and instructional consultant, helping teachers strengthen pedagogy, build technical competency and confidence, and translate AI and Python concepts into hands-on, applied learning that drives student engagement and understanding
Serve as the primary instructional liaison for an assigned portfolio of school district partners, ensuring successful curriculum implementation with fidelity and measurable impact on student learning
Represent TechSmart in school district meetings—including teacher check-ins, office hours, account reviews, and strategic planning sessions—to address challenges, strengthen collaboration, align goals, and ensure successful program outcomes
Monitor key instructional and engagement metrics to evaluate class performance against established benchmarks, maintaining a strong sense of ownership and urgency to ensure high-fidelity implementation and partner success
Maintain deep situational awareness of each district’s implementation by analyzing data, identifying strengths and opportunities, and recommending strategies for continuous improvement
Document all meetings and implementation updates with precision and attention to detail, ensuring notes are thorough, well-organized, and shared promptly with relevant stakeholders
Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with teachers and administrators grounded in genuine care, responsiveness, and a shared commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes for educators and students
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of teaching experience in High School Computer Science or Python programming, demonstrating a strong record of student engagement and instructional effectiveness
Strong proficiency in Python programming; PCEP and PCAP certifications are highly desirable
Strong interest in expanding Python skills within the field of AI, particularly in data analysis and engineering, machine learning, and large language model (LLM) integration using Hugging Face APIs
Demonstrated fluency in generative AI technologies and proficiency with leading tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Copilot
Skilled in prompt engineering techniques to design, refine, and optimize interactions with generative AI tools for teaching, learning, and problem-solving applications
Ability to connect Python and AI instruction to real-world, workforce-relevant contexts that prepare students for high-demand careers
Deep understanding of instructional design, pedagogy, and technology integration in high school learning environments
Skilled in designing and delivering remote synchronous and asynchronous professional learning for teachers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical and instructional content clearly and confidently to diverse educator audiences
Demonstrated success in building strong, trust-based relationships with teachers, administrators, and district leaders
Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple district partnerships and projects with consistency and precision
Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Computer Science, Education, or Instructional Technology strongly preferred
Preferred
Experience leading teacher professional learning, instructional coaching, or curriculum implementation in an EdTech or 9-12 public school setting, with a focus on computer science, Python or emerging technologies
Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science Education, STEM Education, Educational Technology) is a plus
