They are currently seeking a Staff Accountant II to assist in the preparation of financial reporting and support Finance Leadership by providing accurate and timely financial information.

Responsibilities
Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, prepare and post journal entries, and conduct account analyses
Contribute to the production of internal financial reports and support the annual financial statement audit
Maintain and control assigned accounting records
Prepare ad hoc reports including revenue/expense and pro-forma analyses
Participate in financial statement close meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1 to 3 years of experience in financial records and analysis
Strong understanding of accounting and finance practices and large accounting systems
Ability to plan and coordinate projects, meet objectives, budgets, and deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong communication skills
Adhere to the Health Sciences Compliance Program and HIPAA Privacy Policies
Maintain confidentiality of patients, families, and staff
Participate in compliance training and activities
Promote ethical conduct and regulatory adherence
Preferred
Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
