Responsibilities
Lead transformative projects across planning, design, and delivery (Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build)
Engage as a subject matter expert in drinking water and reuse treatment technologies
Leverage expertise in process, pilot scale evaluations, treatment technologies, and applicable regulatory frameworks to collaborate on water treatment project challenges
Drive innovation and deliver impactful projects in the field of water treatment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
A minimum of 5 years of progressive process engineering and project delivery experience in drinking water treatment, including process planning, evaluations, piloting, modeling, and detailed design
Proven experience working on drinking water treatment projects
Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and/or treatment processes and technologies
Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks related to water treatment
Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
Professional Engineering license in Western United States or ability to transfer PE license (e.g. California, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, etc.)
Preferred
Master's or other graduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
8 or more years of direct experience in water treatment
A strong network with local municipalities or other water/wastewater clients
