Responsibilities

Support Arup software development teams in piloting internally developed digital solutions for scalable use on projects and in advisory capacity
Apply technical knowledge to support engineering and design teams on projects in the Americas region to identify opportunities to implement digital tools that positively impact the performance and value of the project delivery
Support Arup initiatives in advancing digital twins
Support the deployment of construction-focused technologies including reality capture, mixed reality, as-built data management systems, and more
Work with internal technical and domain experts to design and implement data management, visualization, and analytical solutions
Development of code/programs to automate workflows including low code environments such as Power Automate
Support preparation of documentation and presentation of solutions to various audiences

Required

Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Digital Transformation, Construction Management, or Computer Science, or comparable major
Interest and passion for all aspects of the built environment and how ideas become reality
Familiarity with development and/or use of digital twin technologies
Awareness of or experience with industry-leading Building Information Modeling authoring and design coordination platforms
Experience with a recognized parametric design/scripting modeling software, e.g., Rhino, Dynamo, Grasshopper, etc
Strong communication skills, the ability to organize and prioritize effectively, balance and contribute to work across teams and projects
Presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, and team collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Candidate must be eligible to work in the US without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future to be considered for this role

Preferred

Awareness of or experience with engineering standards and practices
Awareness of or experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
