Western Business Development Sales Specialist - Seating

The Business Development Sales Specialist – Seating role focuses on creating relationships in the business community to position Humanscale seating as the premier seating brand and involves providing product expertise, strategic sales support, and demand planning for sales in their respective territory.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise in positioning, selling and implementing seating applications
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual seating revenue sales and discounting goals
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research
Partner with executives and product management to develop strategic plan to penetrate accounts
Develop and implement a regional go-to-market plan
Weekly sales appointments and presentations with end-users, dealers, and A&D accounts
Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning
Work with the team to develop innovative marketing programs and show event campaigns
Work closely with the sales team to develop sales tools
Provide new hire and advanced training in the sales reps’ region
Lead sales calls and perform product demos for customers
Deliver a 30/60/90 day revenue forecast and help to close large sales opportunities using CRM

Required

5+ years business development sales experience
Strong leadership, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong presentation skills
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Extensive network with designers and project managers
Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferred
Successful track record of planning and execution
