UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tactical Systems Technician to join their team. The role involves directing operations and maintenance of complex Naval tactical and support systems while leading and mentoring a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

Direct the operations and maintenance of complex Naval tactical and support systems
Lead and mentor a team of journeyman-level technicians, ensuring the successful completion of significant projects
Communicate technical problems clearly, provide actionable recommendations, and develop comprehensive project plans
Oversee personnel leadership and conflict resolution within the team
Work independently to manage tasks and ensure high-quality outcomes

Required

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Naval tactical and simulation/stimulation systems
At least 5 years of personnel leadership experience, with a proven track record in conflict resolution
Established knowledge base in relevant technical disciplines as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly
Experience in developing and leading the implementation of project plans
Must currently hold an active Secret security clearance
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
