Responsibilities

Manages day to day operations of the department

Develops and manages the department's budget for specific projects and activities

Supervise staff and provides on-going performance feedback and addresses problems; hires, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills

Manages relationships with vendors and/or outside consultants

Propose, evaluates, and implements special projects such as new system implementation and business process re-engineering

Directs and coordinates long range planning and evaluating; revises and implements written procedures

Acts as a liaison to other departments for the implementation of new projects

Performs other related duties as required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, computer science, business or a related field

Five years project planning or related experience or a Master's degree with 3 years previous project planning or related experience
