Process, analyze, and document specimens using automated/manual methods
Draw blood or assist with specimen collection and accessioning
Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab instruments or perform QC and preventive maintenance
Report critical values promptly to clinical teams
Lead or support process-improvement and training initiatives
Provide on-call, weekend, and holiday shift coverage
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Medical Technology (or equivalent), national CLS certification and MT licensure within 6 months for Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS)
Associate's in Medical Technology (or equivalent), national MLT certification and MT CLT licensure upon hire for Clinical Lab Technician/MLT
Preferred
One-year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory scientist or technician in a hospital setting
