Responsibilities

Required

Pursuing a Master of Science or Master of Engineering in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Sound knowledge of thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, numerical methods, C/C++ programming or equivalent
Working knowledge of computational fluid dynamics and relevant coursework's
Familiarity with 1-D and 3-D numerical modeling software's such as ANSYS Fluent, SES or equivalent
Good time-management habits, ability to multi-task, ability to sustain focus on long tasks
Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas in an accessible way – distill design tasks and solutions into concise text and presentation slides
Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, teamwork, creativity
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future

Preferred

EIT/FE desired
Demonstrated abilities in applying first principles, with subject matter related to thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics, parallel and grid computing
Computer programming and visualization skills (MATLAB, Octave, Python, Rhino, C/C++)
Familiarity with tunnel ventilation design software packages in 1-D and 3-D
History of creative problem solving and communication of solutions through technical presentations or reports, conference, and journal publications
