Responsibilities

Performs inspection and analysis of raw materials and chemical products to assure adherence to specification

Performs a range of tests of such complexity that attention to detail is imperative

Reads, understands and uses detailed instructions; performs testing; enters data, presents data, prepares reports or charts to report test results

Requires the use of chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments

Inspections may require close tolerances such that results may be sensitive to touch or judgment

Assists technicians, engineers and management to analyze, solve and correct problems

Uses computer programs and tools

The person in this position is highly involved in the quality management system

Required

High school education

Previous Quality Assurance work

Able to operate lab equipment

Preferred

3-5 years experience in Chemical Processing quality assurance

Experience in chemical lab environment
