Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
Conduct tax research and apply findings to client situations to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities
Assist with tax planning and advisory projects in collaboration with managers and partners
Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, deadlines, and required documentation
Support and mentor staff accountants through review and feedback
Assist with workflow and process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality within the tax department
Qualification
Required
CPA license required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation
5–7 years of recent public accounting and tax preparation experience
Strong technical knowledge in individual, partnership, and corporate taxation
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in UltraTax, QuickBooks and Thomson Reuters
Preferred
Knowledge of TaxDome a plus
