Early Intervention Developmental Specialist Intern
Sevita provides Early Intervention and Behavioral Health services across Massachusetts and Connecticut. The Early Intervention Developmental Specialist Intern will be part of a team that offers in-home specialized services for infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
Plan, schedule and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders
Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines
Design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices
Model effective adult-child interactions and provide information on parenting, and child development , through and effective coaching
Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and team
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an MSW program (generalist or advanced standing) with field eligibility for the requested term
Experience or strong interest in early childhood, caregiver coaching, and family-centered practice (experience with children under 5 is a plus)
Effective communication, organization, and time-management; comfort working in homes and community settings
Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and ability to travel within the service area
