Electrical Field Service Technician

Responsibilities
Receiving the assigned site area from the customer or Site Manager or Project Manager and do the handing over to the end customer on completion day
Applying basic project scheduling techniques on ongoing projects and managing schedule risks proactively to avoid future schedule deviations with On Time Delivery impact
Establishing a baseline to manage the project schedule, monitoring and documenting progress for all site and other activities continuously
Closing all punch list items, the handover of installed equipment, as-built documentation, material reconciliation, site de-mobilization, etc., and receiving the final certification from the customer
Qualification
Required
Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of Power Electronics equipment
Knowledge of servicing industrial equipment
Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to travel within Canada and to the United States of America and maintain a valid driver's license
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
More than two years of experience in field services preferred, working as field service engineer with Power Generation and Power Electronics experience
Power generation or Electronics is an asset
Strong Software understanding
