Responsibilities
Contributing to the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, adhering to relevant standards, safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements. Time will be spent preparing detailed drawings for customer review
Ensuring that Bill of Materials for the project meets contractual obligations and project gross margin requirements by not generating Project Left-Over Material
Coordinating with manufacturing, field sales and research & development functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged and tested, updating the engineering deliverables as built
Using standard processes and tools and assisting in developing new processes and tools for the reuse of technical solutions
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in AutoCAD or related discipline or 5 years of relevant experience in design/engineering field
Highly skilled in AutoCAD within the mechanical engineering market
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
Preferred
Possessing an enhanced knowledge of CREO modeling would be preferred in this role
Travel requirement - 0-5%
