Responsibilities

Must meet or exceed company requirements for safety
Must successfully complete all required safety/skills training
Compiles and records production data and utilizes such data to efficiently plan and schedule production requirements
Technician can make minor adjustments to a machine/manufacturing process
Must be familiar with, and work in accordance to latest revisions of applicable work instructions
Must follow quality plans, read and apply work instructions, and determine job specifications and material requirements
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble and notify maintenance/supervision of the issue
Maintain and DCR (dump, clean, refill) baths as required
Diagnoses sampling data, and implements corrective action to maintain compliance levels of metal content in wastewater treatment
Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation using x-ray machine and thread gages
Performs minor machine maintenance such as cleaning flight bars and or connections per work instructions
Visually inspects lines and components to detect leaks, damage, and wear
Recognizes HAZMAT conditions, where necessary
Maximize efficiency of plating operations utilizing SPC and/or analytical test methods ensuring consistent quality products and standards are met
Ability to work overtime as scheduled

High school graduate or GED required
Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training with company equipment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have mechanical and problem solving ability

Preferred

Previous manufacturing experience not required but desirable
Hazardous waste handling experience is helpful
