Sales Support Engineer

In this role, you will support industrial customers throughout the sales phase, ensuring their technical and commercial requirements are met while serving as a key tendering resource for Medium Voltage Drives.

Responsibilities
Analyze medium voltage drives specifications from various industries and propose the most technically suitable and cost-effective solutions
Create accurate and timely customized quotes for medium voltage drive products and services. Understand pricing structures and sales process to support the development of a competitive proposal
Participate in customer meetings to make early influence on the specification and design, or clarify and explain the proposals
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Feeder Manufacturers, External Suppliers, Project Execution/Engineering, etc.) to maximize the impact and influence during the sales phase
Enhance product and application expertise to position the organization as the regional knowledge hub for ABB medium voltage drives
Provide tailored and in depth training to both internal colleagues and external customers
Improve productivity by optimizing the processes and tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
5+ years' experience of Medium Voltage Drives
Excellent verbal and written communicator, skilled at simplifying complex technical topics
Travel up to 10% required
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
