Tooling Technician

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Die Cast Rotor and Maintenance Departments to facilitate the fabrication and repair of equipment tooling
Execute in-house fabrication and repair procedures to ensure seamless adherence to delivery timelines, fostering customer satisfaction
Safeguard operational continuity by maintaining in-house service capabilities, mitigating potential downtime risks and preserving production schedules
Uphold the imperative of timely order fulfillment by averting disruptions in the manufacturing process
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
2–5 years of machining and welding experience required
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Team-oriented with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to read, interpret, and edit technical drawings
Preferred
College-level machining classes preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and BUS/SAP is desirable
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, gating, thermal and mold design, and flow simulations is a plus
Proven track record in project management preferred
