AV Field Technician
Boulder Home Theater Company is at the forefront of audio and video technology, seeking an enthusiastic AV Field Technician to enhance their installation team. The role involves traveling to various sites to install AV equipment, troubleshooting setups, and providing excellent client service.

Responsibilities
Traveling to various high-end residential and commercial sites to install state-of-the-art AV equipment, including TVs, receivers, in-wall speakers, projectors, and full-scale home theater systems
Assessing and troubleshooting on-site to ensure optimal setup and functionality of all systems
Working directly with clients to understand their AV needs and preferences, providing top-notch service and a personalized touch
Managing inventory of equipment and tools necessary for each installation
Ensuring all installations meet our high standards of safety and quality
Read and understand complex manuals, drawings, and schematics
Precisely measure components to ensure fit
Modify components to meet required specifications
Put parts together to create more complex pieces
Maintain a high level of quality control
Keep detailed records
Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in working condition
Report on any equipment issues or defective parts
Qualification
Required
Experience with AV equipment installation in a professional capacity
Strong technical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of explaining complex systems in a user-friendly manner
Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments
Holds a valid driver's license and has access to reliable transportation
Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process
Read and understand complex manuals, drawings, and schematics

Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in working condition

High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools
Strong understanding of quality control principles
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Preferred
Certification or diploma from a technical school is preferred but not required
Previous experience as an Assembler or in a similar role
