The LatAm Strategy team is seeking an equity strategist to focus on LatAm equity markets, involving research production, data analysis, and client promotion.

Responsibilities

The Associate/VP would be part of the EM/LatAm Strategy team and work closely with LatAm equity analysts, FX and Fixed Income teams
The Associate/VP will be able to take part in all aspects of the research production – from idea generation, data analysis, report writing and then promoting to clients
The role will also involve maintenance and development of the various analytical tools and models produced by the team for clients
The analyst can expect to learn from and work with senior members of the team on specific projects, the results of which are published and sent out to clients

Required

You have a strong academic background with a degree in a business related field, or equivalent
A strong interest in global macro and LatAm is a critical pre-requisite for the role
Previous work experience in equity markets or macro would be a material advantage
Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and interact effectively with other research teams across the firm
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Statistical and quantitative skills with a background in Microsoft Excel or any statistical package
Ability to demonstrate competence with numerical concepts and tools
