Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight of 2 directorates enabling design engineering execution across the SDS Division portfolio of programs while reporting to the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division’s Engineering Homeroom Vice President
Direct the implementation of integrated design engineering process across the SDS Division, driving consistency and implementation across program/product teams at all national locations and multiple subcontractor locations
Responsible for performance management direct-reports and organizational matrix of 500-1500 staff
Responsible for allocation and management of directorate indirect budget for maximum program impact
Create and deploy staff training campaign, prioritizing program execution and staff technical/ professional development
Technical ownership, compliance enforcement and continuous improvement of domain-related Principles and Operating Practice (PrOP)
Oversee promotion, merit/bonus processes for subordinate tech for supported programs, ensuring consistency with sector schedule and guidelines
Serve as delegation of authority (DOA) to FHR VP for program, division and/or sector activities as directed

Required

Bachelor's degree and a minimum 10 years of related experience or Masters Degree and 8 years of related experience
Experience in a formal management/lead position
Extensive CAM/P&L experience
3+ years experience with: Management experience leading a technical and complex program effort
Experience developing and administering budgets and standards of performance
Experience in developing and implementing technologies associated with production processes with efficient and sustainable implementation
U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance with investigation date/periodic review within last 5 years and ability to obtain program special access

Preferred

Master's degree or higher in engineering or related scientific discipline
Experience standing up an organization and/or leading a major change initiative
Active Top Secret clearance
ICBM or complex aerospace systems experience
Full lifecycle program execution experience
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
Design Engineering/Computer-aided Design (CAD) experience
Prior experience interfacing with prime contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnel
Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
