Field Service Technician

Work from an Ohio CAT service truck in the natural elements

Required

General technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, or experience with construction or heavy equipment, and strong DC electrical and machine electronic systems knowledge are required
Must demonstrate the ability to follow technical material and apply processes and procedures as necessary to complete manufacturers' updates
Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision—excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Strong computer and software skills are required
High school graduate minimum, College and continued education in a technical field are a plus
Experience related to construction or heavy equipment service and repair is required
Valid Commercial Driver's License with an acceptable driving record following Ohio CAT standards (4 or fewer moving violation points)
Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling
Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
Dexterity Normal
Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers
