Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Architectural Leadership to successfully deliver projects
Work closely with Clients, managing relationships, expectations, and day-to-day individual project needs
Participate with internal Teams to conceptualize, design, and produce project documentation
Interface with external Consultants to coordinate disciplines, manage contractual relationships, and maintain project schedules
Join in Business Development and Marketing activities, independently and in conjunction with others, including RFPs and Interviews
Set, monitor, and maintain project budgets, work plans, and schedules through all phases of the design process
Responsible for developing project scope, fees and managing project budget, client/consultant invoices, agreements, and contracts
Comfortable and experienced to participate in Business Development and marketing activities
Responsible for managing project team resources; advises Office Operations Director of schedules and staffing resource needs
Develops proposals with assistance of PIC and/or Office Director; takes part in client interviews and development of marketing pursuits
Reviews and confirms document accuracy for client(s), consultant(s) and project team(s)
Responsible for projects compliance with Dewberry QMS processes; evaluates and assures review recommendations are implemented; pledges that 'lessons learned' are communicated to all staff

Qualification

Required

Professional Architecture degree from an accredited University is required
Licensed Architect required, with ability for reciprocal licensure in additional states
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required
Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors
Collaborative approach to all aspects of the practice
Expert knowledge of local code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction, as required
Responsible for developing project scope, fees and managing project budget, client/consultant invoices, agreements, and contracts
Comfortable and experienced to participate in Business Development and marketing activities
Responsible for managing project team resources; advises Office Operations Director of schedules and staffing resource needs

A design portfolio demonstrating experience will be required
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check
