The Chiao Lab is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to study the molecular mechanisms of cardiac aging and age-related cardiovascular disease, contributing to experimental design, data analysis, and dissemination of findings through publications and presentations.
Responsibilities
Plan, design, and conduct research experiments in alignment with project goals
Manage research projects, including timelines, data collection, and reporting
Prepare manuscripts, reports, and presentations for scientific meetings and publication
Contribute to grant proposals and fellowship applications
Collaborate with lab members and external research partners
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Biological Science, Biochemistry, or a related field; M.D. or equivalent
Excellent oral and written communication skills to present research findings and write scientific papers
Preferred
Previous experience in aging or cardiovascular disease research is highly desirable
