Responsibilities
Managing day to day operations of the program site
Being able to successfully train and manage other adults
Being reliable and available to work 2:30pm to 6:30pm (Monday - Friday) and 7-9am if working the before school program
Being flexible and able to attend required monthly staff meetings and other meetings as necessary
Great conversationalist and ability to develop positive relationships with parents and school personnel
Experience with school age group; ability to nurture and yet have strong classroom management ability
Develop and implement monthly club activity schedule to keep kids engaged
Plan at least two annual family events for your program's parents
Professional and courteous; ability to adapt to ever changing environments
Qualification
Required
Previous management experience
At least three years of experience working with children (preferably school age) OR a bachelor's degree plus two years experience
Supervisory experience
Ability to work the entire school year
Availability to work 2:30pm to 6:30pm (Monday - Friday) and 7-9am if working the before school program
Flexibility to attend required monthly staff meetings and other meetings as necessary
Ability to develop positive relationships with parents and school personnel
Experience with school age group; ability to nurture and yet have strong classroom management ability
