Responsibilities
Champion safety practices on every jobsite, ensuring compliance with Sunrock, MSHA, and OSHA standards
Conduct site inspections to prepare jobs and confirm dispatch schedules
Serve as the on-site problem solver, managing customer expectations and resolving issues quickly
Provide real-time updates to Dispatch to prevent over/under servicing
Support and coach drivers on safety, site conditions, and unloading practices
Monitor product quality through testing (slumps, cylinders, admixtures) and communicate with Quality Control on adjustments
Document and report unusual site conditions that could impact performance
Partner with Sales to gather customer insights and identify new opportunities
Act as a Sunrock ambassador—leading by example and upholding company standards
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills—able to connect with customers, teams, and crews effectively
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, informed decisions on the job
Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments with early mornings, late evenings, and emergency response needs
Solid technical skills, including math, reporting, and intermediate computer proficiency
Educational background: Associate's degree required
Current North Carolina Driver's License (required)
Ability to obtain NCDOT Concrete Quality Control Technician
Ability to obtain ACI Level I Technician
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
