Dürr is seeking a proactive and solutions-driven System Administrator to take ownership of their IT environment and lead a support team. The role involves managing servers, networks, and IT systems while providing outstanding end-user support and implementing technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems to ensure uptime, performance, and security

Lead and mentor onsite support staff - coordinating schedules, training, and performance feedback

Deliver outstanding end user support, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues with a customer-first approach

Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot to minimize downtime

Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans

Administer user accounts, access, and permissions in alignment with security policies

Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to drive technology initiatives and continuous improvement

Keep documentation up to date for systems, configurations, and support procedures

Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend upgrades that strengthen operations

This is a hands-on role, with a large percentage of time on end-user support and help desk activities. The remaining time dedicated to systems administration, maintenance and process improvement

Required

Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role

Strong background in Windows Server, networking, and virtualization technologies

Experience supporting Linux environments

Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and develop technical support staff

Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others

Preferred

Experience supporting Linux environments (a plus!)

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA are a plus
