FairLaw Firm is a growing boutique employment law firm based in Coral Gables, seeking a passionate Employment Litigation Associate Attorney. The role involves handling various employment litigation matters, developing case strategies, and representing clients in court and mediation settings.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Develop case strategies and theories
Attend mediations, court hearings, court settlement conferences, depositions, and trials, as necessary to represent clients
Advise, counsel, and meet/speak with clients to gather information, assess potential outcomes, and provide updates on case progress
Review and analyze evidence against for discovery and proofs
Contact and interview witnesses
Maintain organized digital case files and documentation
Create accurate records of the time expended on each matter
Stay updated on changes in laws relevant to ongoing cases

Required

Member in good standing of the Florida Bar
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
At least two years of experience litigating civil matters in Florida
Proficient with MS Word (including shortcuts), Adobe, Zoom, and working in a Mac environment
Fluency in using generative AI to support case preparation and analysis
Strong legal research skills
Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team-oriented environment
Well-organized and able to manage an active caseload
