They are seeking an environmental test technician to support a variety of environmental testing in a dynamic laboratory, requiring expertise in operating and maintaining facility equipment and coordinating technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Performs cleaning, maintenance, and or calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision

Operates complex equipment in the production of hardware using complex manual skills with training and limited supervision

Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision

Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor

Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor

Required

Graduate from a 2 year technical school or applicable years of experience

Either two years of applicable technical education and two years of applicable experience or four years of applicable experience meets the minimum requirement

Experience supporting electro-mechanical systems and complex integration and test activities with 2+ years of experience

Must be experienced and skilled in the use of hand and power tools

Must possess strength, stamina, and dexterity to perform strenuous assignments at times

Must have excellent communication and collaborative skills

Organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to following and complying with procedures including: Military & Aerospace compliance standards

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required

Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

Secret Clearance Is Required

Preferred

Experience with test and data acquisition software is strongly preferred
