Founding Technical Recruiter
Valerie Health is an AI front office for independent provider groups, reimagining how independent practices operate. The Founding Technical Recruiter will own and evolve the hiring function with a focus on technical recruiting while also managing high-priority non-technical roles, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end recruiting across engineering and other key roles including sourcing, screening, designing interview plans, scheduling, and managing candidates
Build relationships with hiring managers and develop recruiting strategies to hire the best talent for the role in a structured and objective manner
Develop and promote our top of funnel strategies across sourcing, employer brand, and referrals to help us attract the best talent
Maintain and analyze recruiting related data in our ATS, Ashby, and report out on hiring progress
Deliver a best in class candidate experience
Qualification
Required
3-8 years of experience in recruiting with at least 2+ years of experience in an early stage, start-up environment
Strong experience specifically in sourcing and hiring high caliber technical talent, including senior hires
Familiarity with using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Ashby preferred
Strong understanding of recruiting data and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Proven ability to deliver on full-cycle recruiting for software engineers and other technical hires with an emphasis on outbound sourcing, candidate experience, and high-caliber talent
Has experience hiring in an environment of talent density and has enabled processes that prioritizes quality over quantity
Expresses themselves clearly and succinctly, able to adjust communication style to different hiring managers and candidates, can convey complex topics and sell candidates on the opportunity
Able to work with a wide variety of hiring managers and knows how to present metrics and data in a way to effectively get buy in
Prioritizes building relationships, both with candidates and hiring managers, to achieve the best possible outcomes
Self-starter who takes the opportunity to act when they see a need
Actively seeks to learn and apply new approaches or perspectives, encourages new ways of doing things, and actively seeks to improve their skill set
