Responsibilities

Design and build a robust distributed platform with millisecond response times
Build high volume services that are reliable at scale
Develop big data solutions using open source frameworks
Collaborate with and explain complex technical issues to Product and Project Leads
Optimize and enhance existing products, as well as build new services, in Rust
Migrate some existing services from Java and Python to Rust

Required

5+ years of development experience
Comfortable with Rust, Java/Kotlin, and Python in git repos
Experience writing SQL queries and designing database tables
Experience with NoSQL databases such as Scylladb/Cassandra
Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns
Thoughtfully writing effective unit & integration test cases
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker)
Experience on AWS, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure
