As a Producer Analyst Intern in the Dairy sector, you will learn how to use futures, options, and insurance products to educate clients and develop marketing/risk management plans.

Responsibilities

Leverage skills and education to learn how to use futures, options, and insurance products in order to educate clients and potential clients

Work with Marketing Advisors to learn how to partner with clients to assess price risk in their operation and to develop and execute their individual marketing/risk management plan

Potential projects include Milk Pricing mechanics, Milk price formulas, Hedging 101 - futures, options and insurance, and how to use vault (costs of production analysis and hedge implementation)

Learn the fundamental elements of supply and demand of the dairy market and understand futures, options and spot, the tools Ever.Ag uses to manage customers’ price exposure to the market

Required

Currently enrolled in an accredited college program in Agriculture, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics

Intermediate experience working with data, spreadsheet and generating reports (Excel)

Knowledge of agriculture and futures/options is a plus
