Responsibilities

Assist and support Garlock with month end reporting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and intra/intercompany accounts, reporting, and other areas, as assigned

Review monthly department spend reports and investigate budget and other variances

Support internal and external audits

Ensure Sarbanes Oxley and other internal controls are executed timely

Completion of quarterly and annual reporting schedules for Enpro and/or Enpro’s third party auditors

Prepare and file sales and use tax report by due dates

Work collaboratively with colleagues and others to identify and achieve best practices

Support continuous improvement efforts and change to enhance efficiency and controls

Assist with special projects and backup other accounting team members when scheduling issues arise
