Responsibilities

Assist the PI and graduate students to maintain and set up insect populations
Assist researchers in collecting, recording, and maintaining data and data management protocols from experiments
Manage written laboratory protocols and train new lab personnel
Assist with purchasing and inventorying lab supplies
Assist with research outreach & education activities
Assist with logistics and maintenance of equipment
Collecting and organizing P-card receipts each month

Qualification

BS degree in Life SciencesMaintaining laboratory populationsData management protocolsTraining lab personnelPurchasing lab supplies

Required

BS degree in the Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Botany, Entomology, etc.)

Preferred

Previous experience maintaining laboratory populations of animals or plants
