Responsibilities

Conduct device-level failure analysis in a team-oriented environment to support: Customer returns, Product qualifications, Yield excursions, New product development

Perform electrical and physical fault isolation to identify root causes of failure efficiently and accurately

Generate detailed technical reports summarizing failure analysis findings

Evaluate and integrate new tools and methodologies into the failure analysis workflow

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in IC failure analysis

Proficiency in electrical fault isolation techniques including: Photo-emission, Static and dynamic laser stimulation, LVx, Scan diagnostics, ATE, Thermal imaging, Nanoprobing, Bench testing

Strong understanding of: CAD layout, ATE and bench test datalogs, Digital and analog circuit design, Device physics, IC fabrication and packaging

Familiarity with common IC failure mechanisms and qualification stress methods

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline

Experience with physical failure analysis tools and techniques such as: SEM, FIB, EDS, AFM, Planar delayering, Chemical deprocessing, Chemical decoration
