Manager, Global Trade Professional (remote)

Responsibilities

Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR)
Perform most sophisticated JC classification analysis, determination, and validation (resolution of JC escalation, supplier issues, etc.)
Perform HTS (HS) classifications
Support investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures, root cause of escapes and implement corrective actions
Analyze business needs (including technology needs) with respect to export authorization requirements
Support Commodity Jurisdiction (CJ) and Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System (CCATS) to government agencies
Support development and delivery of formal and informal JC and HTS Focal training and classification auditing
Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
3+ years prior experience classifying US Export Regulations (ITAR/EAR)
3+ years prior experience classifying harmonized systems

Preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
Engineering and/or technical background with demonstrated analytical capability
Prior experience in aerospace programs or technical environments
Familiarity with Collins Aerospace and/or RTX trade compliance processes, including classifications, authorizations, logging, compliant transfer modes, and record keeping; experience with Collins-specific Global Trade systems (GTS, SAP, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, TEXPORT) strongly preferred
Experience interpreting and applying non-U.S. export and import regulations
