Quality Assurance/Quality Control Technician

Windwave Communications is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to ensure that construction projects meet quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities

Conducting construction inspections, ensuring projects and materials used meet quality standards and specifications
Ensures construction work is performed according to plans and specifications
Performs tests on materials and installations to ensure quality and performance standards are met
Demonstrating a working knowledge of construction and safety measures
Work and collaborate with construction crews and staff at all levels of the company
Maintain knowledge of project specifications and compliance requirements
Identify, document, and communicate project issues with a proactive recommendation for resolution
Strong attention to detail
Draft reports based on findings and recommendations
Demonstrates and maintains a working knowledge of construction safety measures and situational awareness at all times

Required

Detail-oriented
Basic construction or general labor skills
Conducting construction inspections
Ensures construction work is performed according to plans and specifications
Performs tests on materials and installations to ensure quality and performance standards are met
Demonstrating a working knowledge of construction and safety measures
Work and collaborate with construction crews and staff at all levels of the company
Maintain knowledge of project specifications and compliance requirements
Identify, document, and communicate project issues with a proactive recommendation for resolution
Strong attention to detail
Draft reports based on findings and recommendations
Demonstrates and maintains a working knowledge of construction safety measures and situational awareness at all times
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with a diverse group of individuals, both verbally and in writing
Ability to lift at least at least 50 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to use testing equipment
Ability to use PDF programs
High degree of focus, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work independently and be a team player within the organization
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
Work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines
Work in a fast-paced environment
Help promote a safe working environment by following safety processes and procedures
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Ability to pass drug screening and background checks
High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Knowledge of Procore
Heavy equipment experience
Fiber optic construction installation experience
