Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate
The University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate to join Dr. Abou El Enein's research team. The role involves engaging in advanced cell engineering projects, focusing on gene engineering technologies and contributing to the development of transformative therapies.

Conduct research in mammalian cell culture and gene engineering technologies, including CRISPR and base editing
Utilize immunology and cell-based assays in research projects
Engage in cutting-edge projects in advanced cell engineering
Contribute to the development of transformative therapies
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate within previous five years
0-1 year of experience
Directly related education in research specialization with advanced knowledge of equipment, procedures and analysis methods
Strong background in cancer or stem cell biology and therapy using in vitro and in vivo models
Expertise in mammalian cell culture
Hands-on experience in gene engineering technologies, including CRISPR and base editing
Proficiency in immunology and cell-based assays
Preferred
Ph.D
Experience in molecular and cell biology and small animals
Publications in peer-reviewed journals in the same or related field
Strong background in viral and non-viral transduction methods
Experience in cell therapy research and related technologies
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, immunology, or related fields
