Inventory Specialist (Starlink)
SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars, and they are seeking an Inventory Specialist to support the Starlink satellite factory. This role involves overseeing the Surface Mount Technology area and managing inventory operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in material handling and logistics.

Responsibilities
Receive, store and issue raw material, parts, details and hardware to support shop operations
Store parts and materials in bins, VLMs, and racks, identifying part and stored location
Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures
Perform picking function to make up necessary kits of parts, material and hardware as required, ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in kit
Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity and revisions
Issue material against approved paperwork such as affixing verification and traceability on required serialized parts before issuing. Validate lot trace
Abide by all procedures, desk instructions and standard operating documents
Manage LCR testing and component measurement
Kitting and de-kitting SMT feeder tables
Manage schedule priorities and independently execute work to meet company deliverables while supporting the organization's goals and objectives
Perform good housekeeping chores in area
Perform cycle counts
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
1+ years of inventory control experience
Must be available for the one of the following shifts: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) or 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM)
Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
Preferred
3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse
Experience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes
Experience operate a forklift and other related inventory equipment
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical/engineering drawings, assembly procedures, schematics and parts list
ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management
