Responsibilities

Contributing to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education
Providing clinical service in the 58-bed, level IV Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
Working in one of the four community-based NICUs

Qualification

MDDO degreeBoard certified in PediatricsBoard certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal MedicineClinical experience in neonatologyExperience in educational researchStrength in teachingWork in complex environmentCommunication skills

Required

Must hold MD or DO degree
Board certified in Pediatrics
Board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Preferred

Clinical experience in clinical neonatology
Strength in teaching
Experience in patient-oriented, educational, QI/PI or outcome research
Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a complex, high-intensity academic environment
