Oakland University is seeking PMO Student Interns to implement project management office templates and processes within the university's environment. The role involves supporting project initiation, maintaining project portfolios, and facilitating communication and governance related to projects.

Responsibilities

Project Portfolio maintenance, including following up with project owners for updates

Project initiation support to users beginning the Project process. This includes assisting users with the creation of a “Business Case” document, RFQ / RFP request document, and the set up of a project in the TDX system

Support the preparation of the IT Governance Committee deck

Facilitate select Project status meetings with project owners and related project members

Assist in developing “Communication” plans for projects

Assist in the development of PMO templates

Facilitate end of Project “Lessons Learned” sessions
