Responsibilities

Responsible for generating and converting a strong pipeline of opportunities that will lead to sustainable, profitable growth

Working collaboratively with Engineering teams, ability to promote solutions for Power Conversion/Distribution and Advanced Magnetics in both Aerospace & Defense and Industrial markets

Regularly meet with prospective new customers to identify strategic opportunities that align new business growth objectives

Prepare and execute strategic penetration plans for assigned territory and/or assigned strategic market segments and assigned customer targets

Responsible to ensure all new business opportunities meet the financial requirements and accountable for forecasting, planning, and achieving new business objectives

Extensive understanding of key market differentiators and competitive landscape

Develop comprehensive knowledge of prospective customer’s end-market and align with offerings

Lead reviews of new business plans with both Regional and Kansas site Leadership Teams

Partner with wider business team on sales initiatives for the Kansas site, including shows and exhibitions

Completion of weekly and monthly reporting and CRM data as required

Coordinates with the internal organization from initial project approval to final quote review

Provides input and recommendations on marketing promotional programs

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field with a thorough knowledge of customer applications

Five plus years direct selling experience in electronic manufacturing or an equivalent field

Working knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM tool
